This beautiful estate home has a very special combination Home Theater / Game Room in the basement, requiring a 120" retractable screen to drop down for movies, but then retract to reveal a Plasma TV for well lit parties and other events.
The Home Theater utilizes a Sony 1080P Digital LCD Projector projecting onto a Stewart Firehawk Screen and a Pioneer Elite 60" Plasma Monitor. The outstanding video is accompanied by 7 Focal Chorus Speakers combined with 2 Velodyne SPL-1200s Subwoofers. These speakers are driven by the a Yamaha RXV-3800. All of this gear is controlled via the MX-3000 touchscreen Universal Remote and housed in a Middle Atlantic extendable and rotating rack located to the left of the screen.
Seating is a combination of custom leather theater seating from Fortress followed by hand crafted dining table sets to accompany the bar. The theater seats are a "Deco" base in a Grade 5 Wine color leather. The configuration is a total of 6 theater seats in 3 "2 Seat w/ Common Arm" configuration. This allows the home owner to have optimum viewing in a pure theater environment when watching a movie and the versatilty of being able to slide the seats to the side of the room when having a dance or other party.
The home is done in a beautiful Argentinian "Hacienda" style, with a tasteful and beautiful Central Courtyard. This and many other areas of the home required music to be accessible from keypads to provide ambience or entertainment. The home owner chose the MusicCast System from Yamaha to give the family the luxury of an easy to use, discrete, feature rich Audio Distribution system.
